Mangalore Air India Express Crash

Today at around 8:30 Kuwait time, my father heard his co-passenger exclaim loudly about some crash in Mangalore airport. After asking around further, we came to know that IX-892 from DxB to Mlore has crashed.

It was shocking news. The Air India Express plane had skidded from the runway and it crashed into a gorge. 158 passengers were killed and only 8 survived.
India's aviation minister, Praful Patel, says he feels morally responsible and deeply saddened by the accident. He says chief pilot Z. Glusica - offically identified as a Serbian national - had logged more than 10,000 hours of flying.
Indian civil aviation officals have started investigating the crash of FLIGHT IX - 892. According to the Hindustan Times 'The bodies of the victims were so charred that the state government said they would have to be identified with DNA tests.' And the black box is yet to be found.

As thought about what happened to the passengers, I found out there is just a thin line between life and death - and how much we take that for granted. We really must look to God for His grace and mercy for everyday. God bless the loved ones

Just in total randomness~!

The past days just ran past so quickly. Its like I even doubted whether January 24th was actually my birthday!. But it is, and I'm 20 now!. But thats another story I guess :D.

Today half of them were'nt there for lunch and I was not in a mood to eat alone and plus i had breakfast at 11.30! So pretty much NOT hungry!.

My prayer today morning was that I finally get my work done!. Its been in one of my request slips to God for a really long while!. Well, its finally showing effect. I cut classes today for 2 reasons
A) Fear of getting screwed for not completing my record.
B) I wanted to buy the computer Visual Basic book once and for all!.

And i've got to begin working on my psychology project!. I was so excieted that fear crept into me. But i shooed the fear away! Thanks Jesus ;)... So today I'll have to form a body for my project. THE topic is 'ME'. I thought of writing it in a scrapbook and sticking pictures as in a real scrap book!.

It feels really good to get things done!. HAHA DOWN with the reign of Procastination!. Things have really been so good now. :D... tc

Just a day.

SO, my last exams scheduled on Saturday. I would ve been extremely happy and elated if my last exam hadnt been COMPUTER :(. Java is just pages and pages of technical terms and statements(if am wrong, its cause am still reading about it!). I ve got to clean the entire house :( and then gotta pay the electricity bill and buy stuff for mom and dad. Got to get some meat for dan. And all this in 64 hours! yikes!......................

Sun, heat and humidity are back again. With extra effect to compensate their precious time taken by the rain, thunder and wind!..... Inspite of the numerous things i ve to do, here I am blogging away!.

Just 2 desks away from me is seated my 'friend'. Well, wonder the quotes, I would call him my ex-friend or something like that. Its amazing how one could just stare you for a minute and then glance away to carry on with their work, especially after knowing the person pretty well.

Thats how people are i guess, we cant expect to world to be friendly.

Back to Broke!

Its Augest end already!! Time literally zoomz past us. And something i yet am to learn is money management!!.. Just the other week i saw my bank balance having rs 164. *sigh* Though this month ( maybe about the 2nd week) I rang up home and asked for a little more cash. And now back to nil balance. And though i just had 2000 with me from the 15th of this month, i blew that money too on CLOTHES:). It was Just toooooo tempting!... Any girl would know what I am talkin about... And my purchase was AMAZING:). I bought a pink off colour(peachish) skirt and a pair of bage shorts from the exhibition going on in Woodlands, opposite Gold Finch, Mangalore. Then i trotted off to Change oppisite Hao Ming, and bought the most fab top for Rs.800( its Sepia=)). Its a white sleevless with flowery patterns on it. And then later, still ran away with temptation to this discount place down Coffee day, Balmatta. And bought a sleevless black and white stripe top =)...
